Taiwanese author wins prestigious award for first time
On Tuesday, Taiwanese author Yang Shuang-zi received the prestigious International Booker Prize at the Tate Modern museum in London. Her book “Taiwan Travelogue” is the first book translated from Mandarin to win the award, and she is the first Taiwanese to receive it.
