Novo rival’s weight loss pill gets green light
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved Eli Lilly’s weight loss pill, Foundayo, for individuals with severe obesity or weight-related conditions. The once-daily pill, based on the active ingredient orforglipron, competes directly with Novo Nordisk’s Wegovy pill.
