Novo rival buys drugmaker in billion-dollar deal
The US pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly has agreed to acquire the US pharmaceutical firm AtaiBeckley for up to $3.8 billion. The purchase offer is $2.8 billion, which can rise by $1 billion if the company meets agreed targets for its medicines.
