Government wants Henrik Frandsen as Folketing Speaker
The government parties have nominated Henrik Frandsen of the Moderates for the post of Speaker of the Folketing. With support from Enhedslisten and Alternativet, there is already a majority for his election.
Frandsen will succeed Søren Gade in October when the new parliamentary season begins....
