Cats must now be ID-tagged like dogs
Since the 1990s, ID marking and registration have been mandatory for dogs in Denmark. Following the European Parliament’s adoption of the first joint EU regulation on dog and cat welfare, this requirement will now also apply to the country’s approximately 730,000 cats.
