About 50,000 rode light rail for free on opening day
Around 50,000 people rode the Greater Copenhagen Light Rail on Saturday as it inaugurated its full route from Ishøj to Lundtofte. The 12 southernmost stations opened in autumn 2025, and on Saturday, 17 additional stations were added to the line. Rides were free in celebration of the opening....
